About the event

Cohen Braithwaite-Kilcoyne is a powerful and commanding singer, and a masterful player of the melodeon and the Anglo concertina.

His music is rooted in the English folk tradition of ballads, songs and tunes, with a smattering of early music, music hall, ragtime and the music of the Caribbean, celebrating the age-old musical heritage of this broad and diverse land.

Supports are JOHN HASELER and THE ASHEN KEYS

John Haseler is an excellent local singer of mainly traditional songs, and The Ashen Keys are a multi-instrumental, multi-voiced, multi-influenced celebration of heartfelt storytelling from Kent.

At The Ivy House, London’s first community-owned pub.

Tickets are £14 advance, £16 on the door (cash or BACS only)

Door 7pm. Live music starts 8pm and finishes at 11pm.

This concert will be half seated, half standing, so come early if you want to be sure of a seat!

Please be aware that whilst our events are held in The Ivy House's  beautiful Grade 2 listed ballroom, this is a pub, so there may be some  background noise from adjoining bars. We and the pub management  have done our best to minimise this, however as this is a listed building there are restrictions on what kinds of soundproofing can be done. We hope you understand.

PLEASE SEE OUR FAQ FOR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT OUR CONCERTS!
