We are absolutely delighted to be welcoming Goblin Band to the Goose!
A real breath of fresh air to the English folk scene, Martin Carthy has described them as "“they can play [and] sing and they’re fearless” - and who are we to disagree with Martin Carthy? We just think they are absolutely brilliant!

Holly Murphy is a singer and Harp player living in South London.
Performing solo and as a part of their band Elfshot, they interpret the folk songs of their native Scotland with enraptured and spellbound accompaniment.

Victoria Lynn is a Hastings born, folk singer living in London.
They are known for their captivating unaccompanied singing style that is simple, honest and timeless, through which they explore traditional English folk song.
Door 7pm. Live music starts 8pm and finishes 11pm.
This concert will be half seated, half standing, so come early if you want to be sure of a seat!
Please be aware that whilst our events are held in The Ivy House's beautiful Grade 2 listed ballroom, this is a pub, so there may be some background noise from adjoining bars. We and the pub management have done our best to minimise this, however as this is a listed building there are restrictions on what kinds of soundproofing can be done. We hope you understand.
Exceptionally, and at the request of the band, we are putting some advance tickets onsale at a concessionary price. This will be for advance tickets only, and there will be a limited number. Please only buy a concessionary ticket if you genuinely can't afford to pay the full price, so that they are saved for people who otherwise would not be able to come to thie gig. Thank you for your understanding!
Tickets are £12 advance (limited number of £8 concessions) This gig has now sold out, and there will be no tickets for sale on the door.
